You are most definetly an earl adopter. Youre headed the same direction as dad, who spent 400 plus on a vcr, and 2000 on a computer that couldnt do much. Hilarious!

On the other hand, I'm glad to see you blogging again. :) And super psyched to see that you're taking care of the finance issue. I'd strongly recommend the financial blog that I read, Get Rich Slowly. He's got some amazing stuff up there, including a step that I just took, called CD Laddering.

Boo. It sucks to be bothered by homeless people, but the fact of the matter is that many of them have problems beyond their control: see some of these studies for more details. Some of the links are crazy old and some of the conditions have gotten better, and I'm certainly not trying to excuse some of the bad behavior, but we also have to realize that some people have problems that far exceed, "every single one of them [making] a series of bad decisions to get to where they are."

For what it's worth.

Nice pic man! I tried taking an HDR shot once but it just came out all weird... It looked like a weird sepia-negative filter or something...

With really high end cameras, like the Nikon d300 that I want, it processes all of them at the same time or very close to each other, it's called "bracketing".

I like doing the Orton Technique. It's really good for nature photography since it gives everything a "painted" look.
